Join us in the pub for an afternoon ceilidh with Hailee Lefort 3pm-6pm

Hailee LeFort is a fiddler and step dancer from East Margaree, Cape Breton. She started playing the fiddle and step dancing at the early age of five. At that time she took step dance lessons from Melanie Murphy for a few months, and has been picking up steps and dancing ever since. She took fiddle lessons from Chrissy Crowley at just 8 years of age. Lessons continued with both Douglas Cameron and Kristen Shaw. Hailee started to take on students of her own at age 15. She has played at various locations in Inverness County such as the Normaway Inn, Margaree Valley, the Family Square Dances in West Mabou and The Cabot Public House in Inverness. Hailee worked at the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre in Judique for the season of 2015 and for the summer of 2016 and is now attending NSCC for business.
